The CodeCore Bootcamp curriculum was developed by our team of industry veterans, who continuously consult with our corporate Hiring Partners to review, update and optimize our program. We teach not just the fundamentals of coding and programming languages, but also offer real-world training in software architecture and development methodologies and processes. Graduates come away with the tools and understanding to communicate and work effectively with teams in a fast-paced development environment.

HTML/CSS
The fundamentals of prototyping and building for the web. You will learn HTML5 and CSS3, along with time-saving frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation. You’ll become an expert in Responsive Design, enabling you to build designs that display elegantly across any number of mobile devices.

JAVASCRIPT & JQUERY
You’ll learn how to make your application much more interactive and user friendly by utilizing Javascript and popular frameworks like: React.js, Node.js, and jQuery. You will learn how make your Javascript more robust by adding tests to it. You will also learn the basics of making a mobile application using React Native.

SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE & OBJECT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT
You’ll learn the basic foundation for building modular and scalable software but practicing object oriented programming and exploring different software architecture methodologies.

RUBY ON RAILS
Used by companies like Twitter, Kickstarter, and LinkedIn, you’ll learn the in’s and out’s of this popular programming language, coming away well versed in Ruby, Rails philosophy and how to use popular version control systems such as Github and Heroku.

POPULAR APIS
Learn how to use popular APIs like Stripe, GoogleMaps and Twitter to make your applications connect and come alive–as well as how to build your own API, sharing out your data and ideas to the world.

DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE
You’ll receive hands-on training in basic user and design research and usability testing, invaluable skills for building user-centred applications and understanding how users interact with your prototypes and products.
