A4 Machine Learning provides various intensive bootcamps and mentorship programs for high school students in Palo Alto, CA. The programs are presented over a two-day weekend and target students who are interested in learning cutting-edge techniques in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The advanced machine learning track provides a deep-dive into a different topic each month. Some example topics include introduction to deep learning, principles of optimization, and mathematical foundations of machine learning. The program is two days over a weekend, 8 hours per day.

The introductory curriculum provides the mathematical and computer science foundations for supervised machine learning. This covers an introduction to Python, basic linear algebra, the ML pipeline, regression and SVM, and application to real-life datasets. Upon conclusion of the program, students should be able to carry out a full analysis with machine learning on real-life datasets to build predictive models.
