AltCampus is an offline, full time programming bootcamp based in Dharamshala, India. It’s a 6 month program that helps people learn full stack web development.
Over 6 months, students go through a rigorous curriculum learning front-end and backend technologies. The focus is on learning by doing projects. The curriculum includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frontend frameworks like React+Redux, backend in NodeJs, SQL, NoSQL, algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
There is a strong emphasis on collaborating on real world projects among peers.
AltCampus helps students get a job by helping them prepare good portfolios. A lot of time is spent on imparting the right attitude, work ethics, and communication skills.
Students don’t need to pay anything upfront for the program, they pay AltCampus only they get a job paying INR 50k/month – 15% of their salary for 1 year.
