For over ten years, BDA has a proven track record of providing high-impact, low-cost training for creative professionals and entrepreneurs. Our community-powered, in-person classes & workshops are focused on practical skills and taught by industry professionals; in addition, we offer a wide variety of social and networking events, coworking and private offices, a professional directory, a membership program, and much more. Whether you work in film, technology, design, photography, or business, we seek to empower your creative process with resources, education, community and collaboration.

BDA is not a school! We are here to help you learn specific new skills quickly throughout your career or creative process – learn just what you need, when you need it. Since we are not a school or academic institution, our classes and workshops are open to anyone regardless of your age, profession or background with no admissions requirements. As a non-academic organization, our sole focus is providing great learning experiences. We don’t test or issue degrees or academic credentials. You can take any class at any time on any subject and in any sequence. How refreshing!

Based in the technology mecca of Boulder, Colorado, we leverage the world-class talent in the area so that our students can learn from some of the best instructors in the world! All BDA instructors are working industry professionals who have deep knowledge and real-world experience and insights in the subjects they teach.
