Makers Academy

Makers Academy is a highly selective 4-month, full-time program in London, England. Makers Academy is inspired by the idea of discovering and unlocking potential in people for the benefit of 21st century business and society, and is creating a new generation of tech talent who are skilled and ready for the changing world of work. They offer alternative methods of learning how to code, as well as teach students how to be ready for work and how to be of value to an organization. At their core, Makers combines tech education with employment possibilities that transform lives.

This intensive program, including a month-long pre-course, sets students up to become high quality professional software engineers.

Makers Academy guarantees a job offer within 6 months of graduation as long as students have successfully completed job hunting requirements.To aid in post graduation job searches, they offer the UK’s largest careers team dedicated to helping students find jobs, through introduction to over 250 of London’s top technology companies looking to hire. Hiring tech companies have included Deliveroo, British Gas, Starling Bank, Financial Times, Compare The Market.com, and Tesco.

Courses have been designed by a team of inspirational software engineers with strong backgrounds in educational psychology, enabling students to master any technology in today’s marketplace. Makers Academy is a big believer in self-directed learning, which means that students finish their courses as confident and independent software engineers ready to hit the ground running.
